Funding Statement
Dialogues in Humanities and Social Sciences (DHSS) requires authors to disclose all sources of financial support related to the research, writing, or publication of their manuscript. This includes funding received from public institutions, universities, research councils, foundations, private organizations, corporate entities, or any other sponsoring body.
Authors should provide funding information at the time of manuscript submission and include a Funding Statement in the manuscript under the heading “Funding”. Where applicable, the statement should clearly identify:
- the full name of the funding organization or sponsoring institution;
- the relevant grant, award, or project number; and
- any other financial support received in connection with the reported research.
This information will be included in the published article to promote transparency and proper acknowledgment of research support.
Where the submitted work did not receive any specific external or institutional funding, authors should include the following statement:
“This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors.”
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all funding information provided is accurate and complete. Disclosure of funding does not imply editorial endorsement and does not affect the journal’s independent peer-review or editorial decision-making processes.
