Revenue Sources

Dialogues in Humanities and Social Sciences (DHSS) is a non-profit scholarly journal published by the International Centre for Sustainable Development and Research (SMC-Private) Limited, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

At present, DHSS does not charge authors any article processing charges (APCs), submission fees, or publication fees. The journal’s operations are supported through the resources of the publisher or managing organization, institutional support, academic collaborations, grants, sponsorships for approved scholarly activities or special issues, and, where applicable, limited income from the sale of print copies or other approved journal services.

All revenue and financial support received by the journal are used solely to sustain its academic and publishing operations, including editorial management, peer-review administration, copyediting, typesetting, website maintenance, digital hosting, indexing, archiving, technological infrastructure, and other activities necessary for the publication and dissemination of scholarly content.

DHSS is committed to maintaining editorial independence and transparency in all financial matters. Revenue sources, sponsorship arrangements, and any commercial or institutional support do not influence editorial decisions, peer review, manuscript acceptance, or the academic integrity of the journal. All editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with the journal’s ethical and editorial standards.
