Ownership of the Published Articles

Authors publishing in Dialogues in Humanities and Social Sciences (DHSS) retain copyright in their published work. DHSS does not claim ownership of the intellectual content of articles published in the journal. By publishing in DHSS, authors grant the journal and its publisher a non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, archive, distribute, and make the work publicly available in print, electronic, and online formats as part of the journal’s scholarly publishing activities.

By default, all content published in DHSS is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC 4.0). This licence permits users to read, download, copy, reproduce, share, distribute, and adapt the published material for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and to Dialogues in Humanities and Social Sciences (DHSS) as the source of first publication, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

The CC BY-NC 4.0 licence supports the wide dissemination of scholarly work while ensuring that authors retain ownership of their articles and that reuse remains subject to proper attribution and non-commercial use.
